Baltic Treasures

Experience the boundless joys of a new country each day, with the additional luxury of an overnight stay in St. Petersburg. With a complimentary pre-cruise night in Copenhagen you will be able to truly enjoy this lovely city - the quaint old harbor at Nyhavn, beautiful Rosenborg Castle, Tivoli Gardens and of course the famed statue of the Little Mermaid.

On this wonderful itinerary you will have the opportunity to visit Berlin, Germany. Enjoy a scenic drive to the German capital and savor landmarks like the Brandenburg Gate and the glorious Charlottenburg Palace. Stroll down Unter den Linden, see the site of the Berlin Wall and take a boat ride along the city's canals.

You will be able to ride a bicycle through picturesque Rønne, Denmark and into the beautiful countryside. Pass through the arch leading into the medieval quarter of Gdansk, Poland. Explore the narrow, winding lanes, marvelous ruined medieval churches and impressive St. Mary's Cathedral in Visby, Sweden. Riga, Latvia boasts a magnificent Old Town called "Vecriga" and has arguably Europe's most exceptional Art Nouveau architecture. Watch the artisans in the old town of Tallinn, Estonia craft quilts using centuries-old methods. In Helsinki, Finland browse the Stone Age exhibitions in the National Museum of Finland, which include an elk head sculpture carved from soapstone circa 7000 B.C.

The highlight of the cruise is 2 full days in St. Petersburg, Russia. Explore this breathtaking city and cruise its canals. Visit the Peter and Paul Fortress, the fabulous onion-domed cathedrals and the palaces - from the immense Winter Palace, now the Hermitage Museum, to the fabled Catherine's Palace and Peterhof outside the city. Enjoy an evening of ballet or traditional Russian song and dance or take a day trip to Moscow.

You will be sailing aboard Oceania’s beautiful new ship Marina, the most beautiful, elegant and sophisticated ship to debut in the past 50 years. Designer touches are everywhere, from the magnificent Lalique Grand Staircase and stunning Owner's Suites furnished in Ralph Lauren Home, they are showcases of the finest residential design and furnishings. More than anything, Marina personifies the Oceania Cruises experience.

Comfortably mid-size, Marina retains the same warmth and charm of Oceania’s other ships. While the country club casual ambiance and level of personalized service remains the same, Marina offers even more choice and some enticing new amenities. As the first ship designed for lovers of fine dining and travel experiences, Marina offers guests a total of 10 dining venues, of which six are open-seating gourmet restaurants with no surcharge. La Reserve by Wine Spectator offers enlightening wine and food pairings. The new Bon Appétit Culinary Center is the only hands-on cooking school at sea. Similarly, artists-in-residence teach fine arts in Artists Loft, a new enrichment center. For specialty coffees and snacks, there is Baristas Coffee Bar. Intimate lounges abound. Accommodations in every category are incredibly spacious, especially with regard to the lavish bathrooms.

Yet remarkably, with so many additions, the onboard ambiance and experience remains comfortably familiar. Oceania has retained everything guests adore about their ships and raised the bar ever higher. We look forward to welcoming you aboard.
